CLARA Summer School Climate Change and Health

We are excited to announce the CLARA Summer School Climate Change and Health, organized as part of the CLARA project.

This Summer School is designed for early-career scientists interested in climate and health research. Participants will gain a comprehensive overview of climate change health impacts, including climate epidemiology, data processing, introduction to climate models, funding opportunities, and a field trip.

The first two days will be dedicated to the expert workshop Cascading Impacts of Heat Waves, bringing together a wide range of specialists in the field. The Summer School will then continue with a field trip, followed by three days of hands on sessions and additional lectures.

The summer school participants are expected to present their research during the poster session on September 3.

The capacity of the summer school is 15 to 20 participants, depending on the overall budget. CZU will pay scholarship 500 euros (accommodation, travel and meals) to the selected participants. The registration is free.
